I started doing self-portraits long ago and recently found out that my Grandfather also loved them! I think I got my love of photography from him and now I have boxes of his slides, which are very precious to me. This is a picture I shot one lazy Saturday morning in 1999 at my apartment in the Gaylord building on Capitol Hill in Seattle.
I dont know what to say...but I think you could have done withoiut placing yourself dead center.

What would be the purpose of doing a self-portrait if the subject in not in the center. The pose is excellent, and the b/w enhances the capture of daily life. This is a very good photograph..

Great self-port. Not easy to capture oneself looking intimate, relaxed, and unselfconscious.

You do look very relaxed and unware. It is a very voyeuristic shot. Nicely done.
